Event Description:
KATY Aquatics is partnering with Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus to host a FREE Water Safety event for the whole family! The event is part of a highly-effective water safety campaign to educate families about youth drowning. It will feature Free Swim Lessons and water safety skills for children ages 3 and up. National water safety foundations are supporting this effort with information, displays, games and demonstrations. Other draws to the event will include food samples from PDQ and Papa Murphy’s, kayak rides for children, a fire truck display from the Willowfork Fire Department, and special appearances from Bobber the Water Safety Dog, Coastie the Rescue Boat, the Chick-fil-A Cow, and Princess Ariel! FREE for the entire family! Register online at www.katyaquatics.org for your child’s FREE Swim Lesson on May 13th. Children must wear swimsuits to participate in the Free Swim Lessons.
