She’s a bluesy songstress with years of songwriting and touring experience under her belt. Marshall grew up in the East Texas town of Nacogdoches and her career began as a lead for a rock band while she was attending Stephen F. Austin State University. It was then that her love of Hank Williams, Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline merged with new-to-her artists such as Led Zeppelin and The Band, giving her voice a bluesy tint and more soul. Playing the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and other high-profile sporting events have helped build her fan base. Her acoustic EP, “Beautiful for Situation,” earned her a national Budweiser sponsorship. She then proceeded to participate in the talent show, “Nashville Star,” where she became a top-10 finalist. Marshall is currently in the studio finishing her winter album release produced by Texas great, Ray Wylie Hubbard, all while launching a national summer tour for Rivers and Rust, her duo project with Kyle Cook of Matchbox Twenty. This summer, Rivers and Rust will join Matchbox Twenty and the Counting Crows for an extensive four-month tour. 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Chris Boss Chris Boss has earned many accolades including winning "Guitar Wars Competition" three times and "Musician of the Year" voted by SA News to name a few.
