Building Blocks of Early Years Series at the British International School of Houston
As parents of children aged 2 to 6, we often have questions or want to know more about our children but are unsure of whom to ask. In order to assist with this, we have developed a series of workshops led by experts in their field who will come and share their expertise with us in person. Each workshop will be interactive and have an area of focus. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and to participate.
You will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the campus and refreshments will be available.
Managing Meltdowns
Why do our children throw tantrums? What are they trying to tell us? How can we respond in a way that helps rather than hurts - and reduces the chances that our child will meltdown again? Join us with special guest, Dr Jenn Mahon, to learn more about navigating through the early years with confidence.
