Corner Store Country Run

STRAP ON 'YER RUNNING BOOTS The Country Run is a 5K Fun Run an Competitive 5K brought to you by Corner Store that will bring out your inner cowpoke or cowgirl. Participants are encouraged to wear over-the-top country attire and gallop, trot or do-si-do their way across that finish line. Along the way, runners will encounter farm-themed zones with hay bales, tractor tires and giant inflatable pigs and cows. Afterwards, everyone is invited to stick around for a family-friendly country fair with free sponsor swag, carnival games, live music, food and a beer garden. Registration for the Country Run includes a race bib, a fine and dandy T-shirt, and a backpack to fill up with goodies at the Country Fair. FUN FOR A CAUSE Proceeds from the Country Run will benefit charitable causes, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the world's largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network making meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the globe. Additional funds will also be donated to local children's charities in each city.
