Breastfeeding & Childbirth Expo

Join us for a special presentation from the Houston Methodist West lactation consultants. We’ll be discussing breastfeeding for both expectant and recent moms. Topics include: • Benefits of skin to skin contact • Benefits & basics of breastfeeding • Benefits of breast massage and hand expression • Colostrum: liquid gold • Going back to work • Breastfeeding Q&A After the presentations, you’ll have the chance to grab a bite to eat and visit with a range of prenatal and postpartum specialists, including experts from: • Wellness • Pelvic health • Education • The Childbirth Center We’ll also be giving special tours of our Childbirth Center. The course is for expectant mothers and one guest and is offered free of charge. All attendees will enjoy lunch, a cupcake station and giveaways.
